Dr. Brittany Wilson earned her doctoral degree in counseling with a specialization in play therapy from the University of North Texas. Dr. Wilson’s research and clinical expertise focus is on children exhibiting aggressive and disruptive behaviors. Dr. Wilson has provided play therapy services to children demonstrating behavioral concerns in a number of clinical settings including elementary schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Dr. Wilson enjoys collaborating and partnering with parents, teachers, and other advocates in a child’s life in efforts of providing the most holistic care possible. In addition to play therapy services, Dr. Wilson provides evidence-based individual, group, and family based interventions tailored to acutely depressed and anxious adolescents and adults. Dr. Wilson also teaches graduate level counseling courses part time at the University of North Texas. Outside of the Talking Place, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and puppy, Max. Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Ener holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling, with a specialty in play therapy and diagnostic testing/evaluation, from the world’s top-ranked play therapy program, University of North Texas (UNT). She has worked with children and parents across a number of settings including elementary schools and preschool programs, university clinics, and hospital and nonprofit agency settings. Previously, Dr. Ener served as a Clinical Therapist in the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children’s Hospital Plano and as the Assistant Director for Assessment Services at UNT’s Child and Family Resource Clinic. Dr. Ener also teaches part-time in the Counseling program at Southern Methodist University. When not helping children and families at The Talking Place, Dr. Ener enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves baking, tea, and movies. She also has a sweet Labrador puppy named Gunner.

Meet Kylee Keller
Licensed Profesional Counselor-Associate

Kylee Keller is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, under the supervision of Dr. Brittany Wilson, LPC-S & RPT-S and Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Ener, LPC-S, RPT-S. Kylee earned her Masters degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University in December 2016, with a speciality in working with children and adolescents. She provides services to children and adolescents experiencing a range of struggles, including disruptive behaviors and anxiety. Kylee is passionate about working with children and families to reduce stress and improve relationships, and she enjoys using play therapy and parenting support to help parents and children understand each other better. Kylee believes in the transformational power of play therapy, and she is passionate about displaying unconditional acceptance, patience, and consistency to help clients feel empowered and secure through their therapeutic process.

Baylee Frank is working towards the completion of her Masters in Science in Counseling, with a specialty in play therapy, from Southern Methodist University. She provides services to children and adolescents experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety and trauma. Baylee is passionate about creating a safe, consistent, and nonjudgmental environment to help children feel accepted and free. Baylee believes in the power of strengthening the bond between caregivers and children by enhancing understanding and communication. Baylee enjoys building a meaningful counseling relationship with children and their caregivers in order to create lasting, positive change. Baylee trusts that play therapy has the ability to help children move toward self-enhancing ways of being; and she is excited to display empathy, patience, and unconditional positive regard to her clients.
